Memorial Celebrant in Shropshire & Mid Wales
Sometimes you want to hold a memorial or celebration of life ceremony separately from the funeral. Maybe the close family want a small, intimate farewell, but recognise the wider need for friends to gather and celebrate a life. Perhaps there has been a direct cremation, but that has left you feeling like something else is needed. It might be weeks, months or a year later - whenever it feels right for you.
I will work with you to tailor make a celebration of a life lived. You can chose any space for this, indoor or outdoor, formal or informal, a garden, village hall or a hotel, you have total freedom.
As well as finding the words and helping to imbue the occasion with joy and meaning, I can MC the event, and help you with all the practicalities. With my 30 + years experience of arts event management I always think everything through, from tech needs to room layout to access issues.
I have created and led memorial ceremonies in gardens, village halls and a community centre - with champagne toasts and afternoon tea - with multiple speakers, live singing and musicians, whatever is right for the person and life we are remembering.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your ideas.
